5th All-Russian OSH Week, to be held in Sochi, Russia, from 23 - 27 April 2019

The Ministry of Labour of Russian Federation is organising the 5th All-Russian OSH Week (23-27 Apr 2019) and IALI EC members have been invited to participate in a plenary session on best OSH practices in the Asia Pacific region. The objective of the Russian OSH Week is to promote best practices in OSH and raise work culture standards.

An IBOR Workshop will also be held on 24 Apr 2019. The aim of the one-day IBOR Workshop is to introduce the IBOR concept to the leaders of the Regional Alliance of Labour Inspections (RALI), Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Mongolia labour inspectorates.

9th China International Forum on Work Safety and COS+H, held in Hangzhou, People’s Republic of China from 16 - 17 October 2018.

IALI Secretary General, Er. Ho Siong Hin spoke at the main plenary session during the Forum. He introduced IALI to the participants, and gave insights on how labour inspectorates could improve. He also encouraged labour inspectorates at the provincial level to take on this program. For more info, click here.

International Benchmarking on OSH Regulations

IALI has developed its flagship programme, the International Benchmarking on OSH Regulations (IBOR), which is an independent assessment system to help countries develop effective Labour Inspectorate (LI) systematically, provide a structured framework for countries to monitor their progress and develop a global network of OSH collaborating centres.
